Voting, piercings, tattoos... what else can an 18 year old do?
/My first professional headshot and business card. the Phone number still works!
Eighteen years ago, in 2008, I officially took a leap in the middle of the Great Recession, earned my license as an Oregon real estate broker, and began a journey that has filled my life with so much joy, connection, and purpose! Reaching my 18th anniversary in Pacific Northwest real estate feels like an incredible milestone, and looking back over nearly two decades in this business, I am bursting with gratitude for every single moment. When I first started, my goal was simply to empower the people around me through education, deep market research, and sharing knowledge. What I couldn't have anticipated back then was how deeply rewarding it would be to walk alongside people through their biggest life transitions, helping first-time buyers decipher complex closing documents or guiding sellers through the fine points of repairs and concessions with confidence.
Over the years, I've had the absolute joy of discovering the distinct personality of every corner of our region—from single-family homes and cozy condominiums to rural acreage, vineyards, and clever Portland real estate innovations. What makes this celebration so truly special, though, is the amazing network of people who have been with me along the way. Today, my business runs almost 100% on referrals from past clients, along with the incredible support of my wonderful friends and family. There is nothing quite like getting to work directly with the people you love most, or meeting wonderful new clients who were introduced to you by someone you already care about!
Through high-interest shifts, booming markets, and everything in between, the true heart of my work has always been about building genuine trust, collaborating with incredible local small businesses, and celebrating each new chapter together. To every friend, family member, past client, and colleague who has trusted me, shared my name, or cheered me on over the last 18 years: thank you from the bottom of my heart! Here’s to 18 fantastic years of experience, laughter, and community—and to many more years of helping the people we love find their place to call home!
